International Christmas Charity Bazaar
December 9, 2008
Every year (for the last four years) the International Women’s Association of Vilnius hosts their annual Christmas Charity Bazaar. The halls of the Rotusė (Vilnius town hall) are filled with booths representing countries like Kazakhstan, Belarus, Austria, France and Poland. The various international schools had booths as well. After sampling the cookies from the Austrians, buying a gingerbread heart from the Germans, rum soaked cakes from the Italians and meeting Santa Claus, we got some lunch provided by Sue’s Indian Raja, and a cup of steaming hot Irish coffee from the Irish embassy.
